On 22nd November 2024, the Strawbees® Workshop and Competition during the Global Robotics Games (GRG) brought together creativity, engineering, and coding in an action-packed day. Held from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, participants explored the fundamentals of construction and building with Strawbees®, creating innovative structures while learning essential STEM skills. The workshop also introduced block-based programming, where attendees programmed a micro:bit to bring their creations to life. This hands-on experience enhanced their technical skills and fostered problem-solving and teamwork, embodying the spirit of STEAM education. The event was a resounding success, inspiring young minds to think critically and innovatively.

A unique highlight of the Global Robotics Games 2024 was the Cultural Showcase Booths set up by international teams. These vibrant booths celebrated the rich diversity of the participating countries, offering attendees a glimpse into their unique cultures, traditions, and specialties. Each booth also doubled as a station for the Friendship Games, where participants had the fun and enriching challenge of learning to speak selected words in the country’s native language. This interactive activity fostered cross-cultural understanding and camaraderie, embodying the event's spirit of global unity and collaboration. It was a memorable experience that brought the world closer, one word at a time!
The Global Robotics Games (GRG) 2024 was an incredible success, thanks to the combined efforts of many. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teams, participants, and coaches for their dedication and innovation, making this event a true celebration of STEAM and robotics. A special thanks to the sponsors and partners who made this possible, and others who share the vision of fostering creativity and problem-solving among the youth.
We deeply appreciate the parents and guardians for supporting the participants in their journey. Together, this collective effort has empowered students to innovate and address real-world challenges, showcasing their potential to shape a better future.
